 PUERTO AYORA / GETTING THERE
Flights arrive on the island of Baltra, from where municipal buses [no charge] take you to the Canal de Itabaca, the narrow stretch of water between Baltra and Santa Cruz. Here a passenger ferry [$0.5*] connects with more buses [$2*] on the other side taking you over the highlands to Puerto Ayora, ending up on Darwin. A camioneta will charge around $8-10* for the trip from the ferry.

In town, Capitania, near the dock, keeps tabs on boat arrivals and departures.
