Besides, many of the best and most interesting places won’t have a number to offer you. In Ecuador, you take our recommendations, or follow your nose and choose a spot that looks popular. If you have to wait, grab a beer or an aperitif and enjoy the atmosphere. You should be aware that most restaurant prices don't include a 10% service and 12% tax [IVA or VAT] charge, and will add these on to the end of your bill.
