San Clemente is located some 59 km north of Portoviejo and 20 km south of Bahia de Caraquez. It is small fishing village that started developing its tourist industry a few years ago and actually, it is frequently visited on weekends by Ecuadorians. Near the village there are good sandy beaches to enjoy.

Getting there. All the buses running the Guayaquil -Portoviejo-Bahia de Caraquez route, pass San Clemente. To Bahia de Caraquez is a 25 minute trip.
