South of Atacames and Sua, small and exclusive, the town of Same [pronounced sah-may] faces a long, palm-fringed beach overlooked by some big modern condominiums and Florida-style beach houses. The beach is pretty and clean, and the town upholds a more upmarket reputation than its neighbors.

Getting there. Frequent bus service to and from Atacames [20 km], US$0.50*, 10 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off at Same, not at Casablanca.
