Canoa is another long, wide beach with white-topped surfing waves and huge caves in cliffs at one end. The village is quickly becoming an
in spot for the young beach crowd, but is yet to suffer any high-rise developing. Its beach is clean and the waves best for surfing early in the year. From Canoa, the beach pretty much runs continuously for 17 kilometers [
over ten miles] to
San Vicente — great for off-roading.
Places to sleep and eat. Canoa boasts some good and cheap hotels and seafood restaurants.
