Ceviche is what you eat in Manabi and with all the prawn farms in the Chone estuary,
ceviche camaron [
raw shrimp marinated in lemon or lime with onions and various spices] is what you have in Bahia.
Like a Eurasian cross between Japanese sashimi and a shrimp cocktail,
ceviche camaron at a waterfront restaurant on the Manabi coast is one of my ideas of heaven.
