Though Atacames is better-known for liquid than solid consumption, there are several reasonably good food stands and restaurants on the Malecon.
Beef kebabs cooked over charcoal, fresh ceviche, hot dogs and hamburgers are standard beachside fare. There are several good food stands in the market near Discoteca Paradiso.
