Ancient
Populations
There
are various
theories about
who were the
first inhabitants
of these parts,
including
those who
believe that
the first
were originally
from Cajamarca.
However, evidence
seems to suggest
that this
territory
was first
inhabited
by the brave
Chimbi peoples
in the pre-colonial
era.
