 TULCAN / GENERAL INFORMATION
The tourist information office [06-983892], is on the second floor at Pichincha 467 between Bolivar and Sucre. It should be open each morning and afternoon except Saturday.
There are Andinatel offices for international calls on Olmedo and Ayacucho, and at the Terminal Terrestre bus terminal about two kilometers [just over a mile] southwest of the center of town. All the useful banks for ATMs, traveler's checks and changing money to Colombia pesos are found around the Plaza de la Independencia. About the best place to change money is the Casa de Cambio at the corner of Bolivar and Ayacucho. The Colombian Consulate is at Bolivar and Junin.

Tulcan's two big fiestas are on April 11, and November 19.
