In Quito you'll only find bullfights during the first two weeks of December at the Plaza de Toros [Amazonas and Tomas de Berlanga]. It's a raucous affair involving copious amounts of alcohol. Tickets for sale are found the day before the bullfight in Plaza de Toros. The Union de Toreros [Av. Amazonas, Edif. Casa Paz] will give you further information about all bullfights around the country. At Bullfights in countryside towns the bull is not killed.
