There is no CETUR office in town but you can pick up a tourist map from Hip Ecuador on Quito and Guayaquil.

Banks cluster close to the main square, Parque Vicente Leon. Banco Popular has a Mastercard ATM, and Filanbanco a Visa one. Banco del Austro and Banco de Pichincha change traveller's cheques.

The Andinatel and post offices are on Quevedo and Maldonado.
