Lying
West of the
Panamericana,
some 12km
North of Cotacachi
is the small
village Atuntaqui,
known for
its sweaters
industry.
The annual
fiestas are
on the 2nd
of March.
If you arrive
outside of
fiesta-season
and there's
not much going
on in the
town, make
the most of
the beautiful
scenery and
get out into
the hills
for a stroll
or bike-ride.
