two kilometres
North of Puyo
along the
road to Tena
lies Omaere.
Here you can
visit a 16-hectare
ethnobotanical
reserve with
guided tours
run by Indian
guides, lasting
for about
2 hours. You'll
find huge
botanical
gardens with
rare plants
used by natives,
and the magnificent
Rio Puyo where
you can go
fishing or
swimming.
