Downstream from Coca on Rio Napo there are a number of well-equipped lodges tastefully constructed in native style while incorporating modern features. Most visitors staying at these places pay for their tours in advance in their country or in Quito.

Popular lodges on the Lower River Napo include la Selva Jungle Lodge, Sacha Lodge, Yuturi Lodge and Napo Wildlife Center, an eco-tourism project in a National Park.
