Dense
vegetation
makes
it
difficult
to
advance
towards
the
Park,
but
at
the
same
time
this
vegetation
can
be
thanked
for
conserving
the
pristine
state
of
the
forests,
which
are
found
intact
and
are
practically
unexplored.
The
Guamani
caverns
and
the
Gugua
Sumacoi
waterfalls
are
the
main
attraction
of
the
area,
where
a
Park
Visitor
Centre
is
being
constructed.
Walking
routes
are
also
being
mapped
out
by
the
River
Hollin
close
by
the
Galeras
peaks
and
the
hill
Pan
de
Azucar.
