From
its
interior
on
the
flat
plains
which
house
a
community
dedicated
to
agricultural
activity,
three
elevations
can
be
clearly
observed:
el
Pondona,
el
Chivo
and
el
Pan
de
Azucar.
The
adjacent
zones
are
small
elevations,
whose
slopes
are
covered
in
vegetation
up
to
the
crater,
creating
such
a
fertile
terrain
that
the
area
has
been
declared
as
a
geo-botanic
Reserve
–
the
only
one
that
exists
in
Ecuador
.
It’s
extremely
typical
to
see
Puluahua
clouded
over.
This
is
a
result
of
warm
air
currents
coming
from
the
basin
of
River
Guayllabamba
from
the
coast,
which
collide
with
the
area0s
cold
fronts
regularly
producing
mist
throughout
the
day.
